Viktor Yuzefovich Dragunsky (1913-1972) was born in New York, in a family of emigrants from Russia. Soon, the parents returned to their homeland, to Gomel, and in 1925 the family moved to Moscow. At 16, Victor entered the Tokar student at the factory, then worked as a sheron at the factory, a boatman in the Moscow River. In 1930, he began to attend the "Literary theater Workshops". Later he acted as an actor in the theater of transport (now the theater named after N.V.
