Deniskin stories

Victor Dragunsky (1913 - 1972) entered the children"s literature quite late, after forty years. His "Deniskin Stories", of course, caused the rapid indignation of literary officials, and, of course, literally one minute won the hearts of schoolchildren and their parents, as soon as the first book of the Cycle of the Children"s Stroller with illustrations by V. Chizhikov was published. Since then, Denisk Klabelov has become one of the most beloved heroes of young readers. Directiveness, kindness, a thirst for justice and the ability to laugh at themselves - these real male qualities invariably attract boys and girls who again and again read about the adventures of their restless peer.
