"Dasha, or the story of a puppy life" is a real unlucking classic of children"s (and not only) reading. A touching story of birth and growing up a little puppy, the famous Czech writer Karel Chapek wrote back in 1933. Since then, it has been countless times in many countries of the world. In Russian, this story became known in the remarkable translation of Boris Zakhoder. The whole cheerful commotion that occurs in the house with the advent of a charming "kusaki" is described by Karelle Chapek with love and humor - with skillfully woven fabulous intonation and wise novels about the history of people and dogs.
In the new edition of the “Self -Cat”, the story of the puppy Dashenka is accompanied by drawings and real photographs of Karel Chapek himself: they have the same Dasha that we, our parents, and whom our children will laugh and sad.
When she was born, it was simply a white nonsense that fit on her hand, but since she had a couple of black ears, and in the back-a tail, we recognized her with a dog, and since we certainly wanted a herbal puppy, the girl. That gave her the name Dasha.
For primary and secondary school age
