The book presents the translation into the Russian language of the verses of the great Indian poet of the 15th century, the visitor, the religious and public figure of Kabir. A man of an ordinary profession, a weaver from Benares, he did not just become famous thanks to his poetic works, but had a huge impact on the culture of India and the entire East. From the century, the verses of Kabir from century were transmitted orally and unchanged into modern life. They are addressed to the most secret in life and carry the deep philosophy of existence, based on the practical experience and knowledge of a person who is the author of these lines. They are also loved, they are admired and performed in India today, as well as at the time they were created.
The book focuses on the reflection of the mystical and philosophical aspects of the works of Kabir. Separate verses in the collection are closed to a single cycle. On the last chapter, reading does not end and, starting again from the first chapter, leads the reader to see, listen again and again, feel the meaning of poetic lines. This is similar to climbing the stairs of the way of love that Kabir wrote about.
