The red train looks too old -fashioned compared to modern trains, but the driver Duffy is in no hurry to send him to a museum or a landfill. After all, they have so many things with the train! Every day they deliver passengers and various necessary goods to small towns and remote villages, and amazing adventures are always waiting for them on the road. The collection of "Dangerous Turn" included two stories about the adventures of the red train and his friend - the driver of Duffy: "Drill day" and "Dangerous Turn".
In the story "Drilling day", the red train is taking passengers to the resort town of a quiet bay, and on the road manages to deliver important goods: rails and sleepers for the construction of new paths, sheep for a farm and letters with parcels to the mail. In the second story - a “dangerous turn” - the driver of Daffi and his red train await the real adventures: due to heavy autumn rains, a flood happened, and the train saves distressing the bus passengers, then overcomes snow blocks in the mountains, but in the end arrives safely to the destination.
Books of the series "Red train" - a real gift for small lovers of trains and railways. Thanks to incredibly detailed illustrations with many details, the book can be reviewed again and again, each time finding something new and interesting, you can find out how the steam locomotive, the station, what cars are, how railway arrows and much more work.
The eve of the book is decorated with a map of the area on which you can find all the stations where the red train has visited, and lay the routes described in the stories.
A special bonus of the book - Tasks "Find and show", posted in the text of the story "Trush Day". It will be even more interesting to consider stories with them and study the world of railways!
Benedict Blataite is a modern British artist and children"s writer, who has created over the past thirty years more than fifty stories for children, the most famous of which were stories about the red train.
For children 3-5 years old
