The children"s book of the Soviet era is a real treasure for collectors. Not only because such publications have always been illustrated much richer than adults.
The best artists were involved in their creation. They were engaged in this with joy and with full dedication: the children"s book was the niche where ideology reached only a weakened form and where there was much more creative freedom than in other areas of fine art.
There are almost no artists who would not be noted in a children"s book illustration. To imagine at least part of the masterpieces created in those years in full, it would take a multi -volume edition. This book shows only the covers collected by collectors Nina and Vadim Ginzburg. Nevertheless, and a separate cover allows us to judge the unique art of the Soviet children"s book: after all, this is the very element that concentrates both the content of the book and the nature of its design
