The creative path of the American poetess Sylvia Plates (1932-1963) was painfully short. She managed to release only one collection of poems and one novel. Sylvia’s husband Ted Hughes himself was an outstanding poet. After the death of Sylvia, he collected her poems and released with his comments (1992) Thus, the "main corps" of the poetic heritage of Sylvia of Plates appeared, which is constantly reprinted and which forms the basis of our book.
