The initiator of the collected works of Veliirah Khlebnikov is a famous literary critic and culturologist Rudolf Valentinovich Duganov (1940-1998), who developed a general plan and scientific and textual concept of the publication.
In 1992, a layout of the first volume for the publishing house "Fiction was carried out, the project did not then be implemented due to circumstances from the compilers.
A six -volume (in seven books) was published in the publishing house of the Institute of World Literature. A. M. Gorky RAS in 2000-2007. This collection of works is repeated by the publishing house "Dmitry Sechin" in 2013-2015. Actual discussions of these publications make it possible in the 3rd publication to remove semantic and technical errors of the initial set, as well as make a number of private amendments to the poetic graphics and composition of the Khlebnikov texts. The facts and formulations of some notes are clarified. Two parts of the sixth volume are printed together
