Cinderella

“Cinderella” is one of the most famous stories, the plot of which was embodied in fairy tales of different peoples of the world. For the first time, a fairy tale was found in ancient Egyptian papyruses. But the option of a French writer and collector of folk tales Charles Perrault turned out to be most popular. And this is not surprising. After all, it is the “Cinderella” of the platform that filled with sparkling lightweight, irony and fun. It does not have the cruelty of the German version of the fairy tale of the Grimm Brothers or the emotional pretentiousness of the “cat-sounding” to the Italian Jambattist Bazile.

For this publication, we re -transferred the first edition of the fairy tale Charles Perrault from 1675. And the artist Anton Lomaev accompanied her with illustrations sending the reader to France of the 17th century - centuries of brilliant kings and court intrigues, magnificent balls, gilded carriages and musketeers, centuries of golden fairy tales
