The fairy tale Cinderella is read with the same interest all over the world. The history of Cinderella is not unique, other authors repeatedly retold this popular folk plot, but it was the option of Charles Perrault that became the most famous due to the originality of details, the sophisticated and easy image of Cinderella and the lack of motives for cruelty and retaliation.
Fairy, the godmother, helps and takes care of a poor girl who suffers from the nit -picking of absurd sisters and steps. In order for Cinderella to get into the ball, the fairy turns the pumpkin into a carriage, mice into lackeys and gives her crystal shoes and indescribable beauty dress (Charles came up with all these fantastic elements himself, there were no fairy tales in the folk interpretation) A beautiful prince falls in love with a meek and beautiful Cinderella, and the lost crystal shoe helps him find his chosen one.
All the little girls who read the fairy tale Cinderella dream of being like the main character. The moral of the fairy tale: kindness, modesty and responsiveness, forgiveness, hard work - these are the features that the girl should possess in order to marry the prince over time. The fairy tale teaches to forgive close people of their misconduct, and not pay the same coin and once again not to complain about anything.
The real decoration of the book is the exquisite illustrations of Vladimir Konashevich, elegant, poetic, surprisingly accurate in detail, conveying a truly French flavor of fairy tales
