Arkady Petrovich Gaidar (1904-1941) - Soviet writer, author of children"s books ("Blue Cup", Timur and his team, "Fate of the Drummer", etc) He participated in the civil and World War II. He dreamed of getting to the front and fight, like his father. A.P. Gaidar was only 14 years old when he became the commander of the detachment. In 1922, he was demobilized from the ranks of the Red Army.

A prank with a lost telegram, about which they did not tell their mother, leads to the fact that they find themselves thousands of kilometers from the house, far in the taiga, near the blue mountains, but cannot meet with their geologist, who asked them to delay the trip in the telegram . And then real difficulties and adventures begin! Friendship and kindness, warm, trusting relationships in the family, mutual support help the Serygin family to cope with unforeseen circumstances.
