The book of Schwartz and Pakhomov was the first not only in the biographies of the writer and artist, it was also a breakthrough in book design, a model for subsequent Detgiz experiments. The influence of V. Lebedev on Pakhomov is not surprising, if we recall that Alexey Fedorovich is his pupil in the Petrograd Vhutemas (1920-1921).
