We represent the third cycle of verses by the St. Petersburg poet Alexander Treshkur. By tradition, the publication is divided into two volumes - “by the way” and “of course”.
This is the author’s experiments with a form, intensive search for weight and new meanings of the usual words. Whether the description of nature or household observation, sensual experience or detached reflection, the poet seeks to fit the maximum of the denoting in the minimum, inspired by either hockey or diary Confessional tradition of American poets. One way or another, the author’s voice remains recognizable and not like anyone.
When the July breeze,
as a good yard dog,
crosses your threshold,
do not be severe with it,
it will not require food
and here it is not here will take the roots,
