Backhand, yarrow, meum and frosty, the heroes of the epic fairy -tale saga "upward and vice versa", go on a new journey. Awakening from winter hibernation, the dwarves find that the stream on which they lived began to dry out. In search of a new house, gnomes go down the stream, to the distant lands, where new exciting adventures and amazing discoveries await them.
The first part of this epic fairy -tale saga, “upward and vice versa” was awarded the Carnegie medal, the oldest and most prestigious award for the best literary work for children, and became the classic of children"s literature.
The book is first published in Russian and contains 16 color and more than 50 black and white illustrations made by the author of the book
