Here is the first book of poems by Grigory Shuvalov, a student of different poets such as Yuri Kuznetsov and Evgeny Rhine. According to the literary critic Sergei Fedyakin, Shuvalov’s poems are somewhat reminiscent of the poetry of Boris Ryzhey, but with the Rubtsovsky “clearance”. “This“ despair of the gateway ”is captured with undoubted energy, but with an irresistible desire to raise the head, see the heavenly“ eternity ”above the head.” Real poetry is born in the clash of two worlds - ideal and real. The ideal poet understands the world that is arranged “according to the will of God Himself”, and under the real - the one that we do ourselves. Happy is the person whose consciousness these two worlds coincide. The purpose of this book is to let the reader feel that this is possible
