Emil Vercharn (1855 -1916) is an outstanding Belgian poet and playwright of the 19th century, one of the founders of literary symbolism and the ancestor of a free verse in franco -speaking poetry. In this publication, Verkharn is presented in the translations of large Russian poets of the Silver Age: A. Blok, V. Bryusov, M. Voloshin, V. Khodasevich and others. The book includes Essays by A.
