Between the wolf and the dog

Alexander Sobolev is the author of five poetic collections. Published in the magazines Neva, Children of the RA, Prosodia, Moscow, in the Almanac “45 Parallel”, “White Raven” and others. Laureate of the 45th Caliber contest, winner of the “Evening Moscow” contest, winner of the Grand Prix of the Festival “Province by the Sea”. The sixth book includes poems of different years and quite determines the position of the author. In his picture of the world, poetry in a concentrated form considers the most important issues of existence and almost the general prospects of a developed life. Thought and emotion, symbiosis, dialectical steaminess solve the problem of improving in its, poetic dialect. The author believes that a harmonious synthesis of emotion and reason is a universal tool of evolution. He considers it as an area of ​​art, in literature - verbal art.
