Anya and Manya

Two wonderful heroines of the story, girlfriends of Ani and Mani, have a fabulously improving life. Once with the kindergarten in the forest cottage, they decided not to sleep for the whole night (and then the night and more) And this is what came of it.
It turns out that if you try not to fall asleep and slowly get out of the bedroom, you can chat with a huge speaking hedgehog, creaking cabinet and a month lying in a flower bed - either round -sided or thin. And you can fly in the night sky and sit on the clouds.
The book is written by a light, singing syllable, with soft humor, mainly in dialogs, in funny children"s (and sometimes adult) replicas, in verses. Magic adventures and the real life of girls in kindergarten are harmoniously connected. Some natural phenomena (full moon, new moon), the behavior of forest residents are explained.
The book "Anya and Manya" was written by Elena Sergeevna Ventzel - a unique woman, a mathematician, the author of textbooks on probability theory, prose writer. Her literary pseudonym - I. Grekova (from the name of the 25th letter of the Latin alphabet "Igrek", which is used in mathematics to indicate an unknown or variable, as well as the ordinates axis)
I. Grekova wrote excellent books for adults. It remains only to regret that the story "Anya and Manya" is her only prosaic children"s work.
It is recommended for children from 4 to 6 years.
