Ernest Seton-Tompson is an outstanding animal writer, founder of the scout movement. Ernest was born in the UK, and when he was six years old, the family moved to Canada. The boy often spent time in the forests near the house, because he liked to observe the life of wild animals. He masterfully painted the sketches of animals and even studied the fine art in Paris. And he always wrote stories: about the life of the Indians, the adventures of the boys, but most of all - about the life of the wild animals that he loved, studied and defended his work.
