The ingenious text, ingenious translation and ingenious illustrations - this is what the Russian edition of this unusual storytake, close in spirit of the famous "Alice in Wonderland", distinguishes. The first and only output of the “Anechka-Jellych and Solomenny Hubert” in Russian took place in 1980, but the book still has an enviable community of fans.
The book created three outstanding people: Vitezlav Nonzal - the famous Czech avant -garde and experimenter in the field of language, Victor Pivovarov - one of the most famous "unofficial" Russian artists of the twentieth century, Asar Eppel - writer, poet and translator, virtuoso master of words.
Having first falling asleep in a cart, a village girl Anechka-Jellyka wakes up in the city. Her companion is a boy named Solomenny Hubert. They fall into an amazing space called the country wherever.
In someto the mind, incomprehensible characters live: a camel with a hump, which can be unfastened and detected inside the radio, a person with claws, composting tickets, the director of the circus who cries pearls, a parrot who does not withstand confusion and goes crazy, small blacks -Liliputaners who turn into small white blacks, then in small white fish, then in small white ants, etc.
Heroes are awaiting mysterious and highly unusual adventures. Despite the apparent surprise, the fairy tale has a slender plot. The undoubted decoration of the book is poetic saying and songs.
Thanks to the exquisite language game, an intriguing plot and excellent illustrations, the book is rightfully considered a real masterpiece of children"s literature.
It is recommended to read and enjoy, starting from primary school age to old age
