In the book "And what if God is a seagull", which opens the book series "Anthology of modern Lithuanian poetry", included poems by six bright Lithuanian poets, who first declared themselves in the 1990-2000s and represent a diverse spectrum of Lithuania’s latest poetry. Most texts are published in Russian for the first time.
About the authors of anthology
Marius Burokas (Marius Burokas, p. 1977) - poet, translator, critic, curator of literary events. He studied Lithuanian philology at the University of Vilnius. The author of four poetry books, including "learned not to be" (ISMOKAU Nebuti, 2011) and "Condition of purity" (Svaraus Buvimo, 2018) Translates the poetry and prose of English -speaking authors. His poems are translated into many languages, included in a number of anthologies and collections. Laureate of a number of literary awards and festivals, including the mayor of Vilnius (2016) and the festival "Spring of Poetry" (Poezijos Pavasaris, 2019) Lives in Vilnius.
Aushra Casilunay (Ausra Kaziliunite, p. 1987) - poet, critic, journalist.
