Mother Nikolai Vatagina - Irina Vasilievna Vatagin, - a famous icon painter, professor of the St. Tikhonovsky Theological Institute.
Nikolai Vatagin graduate of the Institute. V.I. Surikova. Member of numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His works can be seen in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Tarusa Art Gallery, the Department of Arts of Innsbruck, in museums and private collections around the world.
