Robert Rozhdestvensky is one of the most famous Russian poets of the second half of the twentieth century. Along with E. Yevtushenko, B. Akhmadulina, A. Voznesensky and B. Okudzhava, Rozhdestvensky entered the “main poetic clip” of the generation of sixties and became the symbol of “thaw”, the era of freedom and romantic hopes for a bright future. Citizenship and pathos, which are distinguished by many verses by Robert Rozhdestvensky, were connected in his work with a deeply personal attitude to everything that happens, crystal sincerity and purity of mental experiences. “What I did, I always did honestly. I never had lines from the evil one ... ” - the poet could rightfully say about himself. Robert Rozhdestvensky’s poems responded to millions of readers, his books were published in huge circulations, and the songs laid on his lines with their special nervous intonation were known by heart, most of these songs are still singing. Among them are “moments”, “echo of love”, “huge sky”, “love will come to you”, “the attraction of the earth”, “song about the distant homeland”, “my years” and many others
