Russian folk tales are a compulsory reading for children. They collected folk wisdom, knowledge about the world around. Reading fairy tales, the child learns with the heroes to distinguish between good and evil, find a way out of difficult situations, appreciate friendship and ingenuity. The collection includes the most famous Russian folk tales in the classical processing of A. N. Tolstoy, A. N. Afanasyev, K. D. Ushinsky, O. Kapitsa and others. They are included in the programs for mandatory preschool reading and reading at school. For the convenience of readers, fairy tales are divided by age: for children under 3 years old, for children 3-4 years old, for children 4-5 years old, for children 5-6 years old. The texts of fairy tales are given without abbreviations.
