Lewis Carroll came up with his famous fairy tale at the request of Little Alice Liddell, the daughter of Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University, Henry Liddell. This young lady became the prototype of the main character of the fairy tale “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland”.
