A quarter of a century after the first edition of the immortal tale of Lewis Carroll "The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland, the author himself retelling her for small readers - from zero to five". Sir John Tenniel, on the basis of his black and white illustrations for the book about "Alice", drew new, enlarged, slightly changed color illustrations, and the famous engraving of the Victorian era Edmund Evans created wooden engravings on their basis and printed color illustrations from them.
The cover of the book was drawn by Gertrude Thomson.
The book was prepared on the basis of the English edition of 1890.
It is in this form that the book is first published in Russian.
As in the original edition, our book provides: the introductory poem by Lewis Carroll "Sweet Children", his preface addressed to mothers, as well as applications - "Easter greeting" and the poem "Christmas Epistle"
