Albrecht Dürer became famous as one of the greatest painters of the Renaissance. He raised the art of engraving to unprecedented heights, inventing a complex technique of cutting the picture on copper or wood - an engraving, and also opened a self -portrait genre. He wrote his first self -portrait at the age of 13!
Probably, Dürer in childhood heard from his mother a fairy tale about another gifted and savvy child-a boy-s-firing boy. We rethought the legacy of the great artist - his engravings, portraits and drawings - and for their reasons created illustrations for the fairy tale of the same name.
Compare pictures from the book with the originals of the works of the great master, look for common details and catch the differences, discuss the color palette and features of the era. To do this, you do not need to be an artillery, it is enough to get carried away with a fairy tale and illustrations.
At the end of the book you can read about the main stages of the artist’s creative development and find out interesting facts about him. Here we also placed reproductions of the original works that inspired our illustrator. And also enter the camera on the QR code and visit our free VoiceBook virtual Museum.
