Adventures Pinocchio

The story of a wooden boy Pinocchio has not lost its popularity for more than a hundred years not only among readers, but also among artists. Illustrations for this publication were created by Massimiliano Fretzato - one of the best modern Italian artists. As a child, he dreamed of learning to draw so beautifully that the drawings were struck by himself. Today, the series of works of Fretzato, the most famous of which are Mazer Guardians, are popular in many countries of the world.
"Adventures of Pinocchio" can be called crystallization of the artist"s dreams. The contradictory combination of different styles, painting and graphics not only amazes the imagination, but also gives the book the very daring, mischievous character that its main character is distinguished. Fretzato admits that, working on illustrations, he felt himself at the same time both the father of Pinocchio and Pinocchio himself.
