Adventures of a chess soldier Peshkin

Interest in children"s literature Efim Chepovetsky was instilled by his teachers - Samuel Marshak and Lev Kassil. And one of the most famous in right is the story "The Adventures of the Chess Soldier Peshkin", whose main characters are funny and brave chess figures.
Two armies live in the chess kingdom - white and black, ready to join the battle at any moment. And therefore, when the soldier Peshkin was sent for a secret operation - to free the chick chick from the mousetrap - spies immediately reported this to the enemy king. Following Peshkin, a detachment of harsh black figures was sent. However, no intrigues of enemies will be able to prevent the brave soldier from completing a combat mission and save the young pepor. After all, kindness and courage, friendship and mutual assistance always destroy any insidious plans.
