Description
Patient, but not very smart mama-smell is inferior to the whims of a son, who does not want to fall asleep, and is recovered in search of a nanny. The kid does not want to see a duck, nor a toad, a pig, nor a horse, nor a pike and, in the end, chooses a cat as a nanny. The story about a little parliament ends with a multi-plate: "The mouse-mother came running, looked at the bed, looking for a stupid mouse, and the mouse cannot be seen ...".
This little children"s book turned 90 years old. The instructive story of the capricious mouse, created by the great masters - the writer S.Ya. Marshak and artist V.V. Lebedev, saw the light in 1925. The book was published 12 times until 1945. Another reprint took place in 1982, in the series "artists for children". However, illustrations in all these books, although similar to the originals created by the artist, look more conditional, poster. It is known that in printing houses until the 90s, the drawings were greatly retouched and simplified, adapting them to the existing possibilities of printing. Apparently, Lebedev’s illustrations were subjected to the same procedure - they were transferred from tone to bar.
A new reprint of the fairy tale "On the stupid mouse", prepared by the publishing house "Melik-Pashaev", is printed from genuine drawings by V.V. Lebedev, stored in the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg) For the first time, amateurs and experts in book graphics can see illustrations as they really are - with half -tones, thin color transitions and small details.
It is recommended for children of preschool age, as well as parents who are not indifferent to reprints of rare children"s literature
