The tale of the adventures of the simple peasant son of Ivan, written in poetic form based on Russian folk tales.
Ivan by decree of the king goes to save the princess Zarnitsa, stolen by the snake Gorynych. As a reward, the king promises Ivan to give the saved princess as his wife.
On the way, he meets many friends and assistants who help him fulfill the royal order.
Having gone through trials and overcoming all the difficulties, Ivan helps Princess Zarnitsa return to the king-father, but ... he is betrayed.
The moral of the fairy tale is simple - a good heart will always find friends who in difficult times will help to cope with the hardships and go out the winner
