Vadim Gabrielevich Shershenevich (1893-1942) - Russian poet, translator, in whose work the whole history of Russian poetry was reflected. In the mid-1910s he participated in literary disputes, published the theoretical work "Futurism without a mask" (1913), translated literary manifestos of the theorist of Italian futurism F. Marinette. He claimed the role of the theorist of Russian futurism. In 1919 - one of the main founders of the Imazhinists group (S. Yesenin, A. Mariengof, A. Kusikov) The rivalry with Mayakovsky, which began even before the revolution, continues. He was the chairman of the Moscow branch of the All -Russian Union of Poets (1919) Shershenevich in the early 1920s, one might say, knew "all of Moscow". He was an indispensable participant in various literary assemblies, the initiator and organizer of collections and almanacs.
