A greedy heart. Poems and prose

For the first time, all the well -known artistic works of Tatyana Petrovna Efimenko (1890 or 1897 - 1918) are collected in this publication - the poetic and prosaic heritage of the wonderful poetess, the author of the only collection "A greedy heart" (1916), whose life was tragically broken in December 1918 Efimenko’s poetry aroused a keen interest among A. Lozin-Lozinsky, S. Gorodetsky, V. Khodasevich, Z. Gippius and others. Efimenko’s poems were compared with the work of A. Akhmatova by their common “simplicity, the clarity of the structure of the phrase, spiritual severity and cardiac spontaneity” ( A.A. Smirnov) Most versions are published for the first time based on materials from the RGALI funds. Prose texts are collected according to publications in the periodicals of the 1910s
