The book, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War, presents poetry dedicated to the events of those years. The collection is divided into two parts: "Voices of witnesses" and "songs that have become folk". The first part included verses of people who have passed the front or testing of war - hunger, blockade, occupation, bombing, evacuation hardships. In the second part - songs familiar to most of our people literally from the cradle. In addition, in both parts of the collection, the verses of those who found war on the child are placed, but for whom it became the main memory associated with their childhood. At the end, two prayers compiled by our contemporaries are given for the repose of the fallen and the world.
