In the entire history of world literature, there are not so many phenomena, by the significance of equal to the era, which is commonly called the Russian Silver Age. But only after many decades it became obvious how much this phenomenon was great not only qualitatively, but also quantitatively: the great poets lived and worked next to just good, famous - next to the unknown. And there were no less women among poets of this era than men. When in 2000 a small anthology was published "101 Poetesses of the Silver Age", it struck readers with a variety of names and styles. And then it became clear that this was only the top of a huge iceberg, which after twenty years appears to the court of readers, moreover, alas, and here there was a place not for everyone who was worthy of the “resurrection”.
The chronological principle was based on the location of the names here - as much as possible. Many poems are printed according to autographs from archives, or extracted from pages of now inaccessible publications. In addition, anthology is equipped with a huge number of photographs, in most cases published for the first time.
