The book presented to the reader is the result of the authors' fieldwork in the Land of the Dogons. Dedicated to the past exhibition "Children of the Rain: Foot, Body, and Dogon" at the State Museum of the East (5.02.2021–28.02.2021), the publication contains an extensive body of historical and cultural information, as well as materials related to the works of traditional Dogon and Tellem art collected during our research in the Bandiagara Highlands (Dogon Plateau) in 2017–2020. The book also includes illustrated descriptions of the works presented at the exhibition.
