Chemistry. Fundamentals of chemistry for medical university students. Textbook for universities

The main goal of the textbook is to provide students with a complex of theoretical knowledge: fundamental concepts, laws, and regularities of chemistry, as well as the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical tasks in future medical professional activities. The textbook includes six modules, the content of which is selected based on the principles of fundamentality, integrativity, professional orientation, and rational minimization. The educational chemical material included in the modules is aimed at developing an understanding of the chemical, physicochemical essence of processes occurring in the human body, showing the close connection of chemistry with medicine, ecology, and contributing to the formation of general cultural, general professional, and professional competencies of future doctors. Each module of the textbook contains illustrations, educational tasks with solutions, questions, and assignments for independent student work. The textbook is intended for students of medical universities studying in the specialties of 'Pediatrics', 'Dentistry', 'Medical and Preventive Care', and is aimed at implementing the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education for these specialties. The textbook can be used by students and teachers of biological non-medical and non-chemical universities.
