Chemical kinetics. Tutorial

The study manual in a brief and accessible form sets out the basics of the formal kinetics of simple and complex homogeneous reactions and the theories of the elementary act. Considerable attention is paid to the modern interpretation of the kinetics and mechanisms of reactions in liquid media, as well as catalytic and heterogeneous (including topochemical) reactions. A distinctive feature of the benefit is that it is designed to use in a multi-level teaching system, and therefore the presentation of the material gradually changes from elementary to adopted in the monographic literature. In the final chapters, the use of the kinetic method in coordination chemistry on the example of the reactions of metallofirins and a review of the current state of the theory of non-equilibrium kinetics on the example of plasma-chemical reactions is given.
