The book presents the theoretical foundations and mathematical models of chemical and biological sensors of various types: enzymatic, immune, thermochemical, potentiometric, semiconductor (chemical), chemistical, amperometric, electrochemical (affected and nuclein-acidic), impediometric, optical (including ramanan spectrum), and the Ramanic spectrum) and Ramanic spectrums) Akastolovs. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspect of the design and production of chemical and biological sensors based on modern nanomaterials. The large volume of the book is devoted to methods for converting the parameters of chemical and biological media into an electronic signal. Since the chemical sensory is an interdisciplinary area, the book will be useful for chemists, biochemists, microbiologists and physicists engaged in research in the field of chemical and biological sensors, as well as developers of microsystemic devices, teachers, graduate students and students. The publication in Russian was planned for issue in 2013, however, in the process of preparing the translation, the author received an offer of the author to publish in Russia a new, second edition that should be published at John Wiley & Sons, Ltd in English only in 2016. Thus, in agreement with the copyright holder, the 2nd edition of the monograph, corrected and supplemented, is presented to the attention of the Russian reader
