Strub Talbott - prominent American politician. Twenty-one worked in the magazine Time, after which he entered the public service as a special adviser to the US Secretary of State on issues of new independent states in the post-Soviet space. Later, Talbott became US Deputy Secretary of State, since 2002 - President of the Brugge Institute in Washington. Michael Beshlos is an American historian and a political scientist, an author of several books about Soviet-American relations, about US foreign policy. In his book, S. Talbott and M.
