The textbook presents five lessons considering the basic categories and concepts of the delicate law of England and the USA. Each lesson consists of several parts that include authentic texts on the topics of the delicate law of England and the USA, questions to test the understanding of the text, lexical and grammatical exercises, tasks for translation or referring of the text, as well as the Case Study section, which proposes tasks for solving legal tasks and discussing topical issues of tort law.
The purpose of the textbook is to form students" ability to freely use a foreign language in situations of professional communication, competent to use acquired skills in practical activities, as well as improving the intellectual and general cultural level.
This textbook is intended for 4th year students studying in the direction of preparation Jurisprudence (qualification Bachelor), and 5th year students studying in the areas of training Legal support for national security (qualification Specialist) and Law enforcement activity ”(qualification“ specialist ”) It can be used in teaching students of other non -linguistic specialties, as well as for a wide range of people studying English.
