The monograph is devoted to the problem of counteracting illegal migration in the Russian Federation. It comprehensively discusses issues such as the legal regulation of migration and counteraction of migrant crime, the implementation of migration policy. The characteristic of migration processes in modern Russia is given. The state of crime associated with illegal migration is analyzed, a characteristic of crimes committed by migrants in the Russian Federation is separately considered. The criminological methodology for analyzing the state of counteracting crimes committed by foreign citizens and stateless persons is presented. The authors proposed a set of measures aimed at improving the opposition of illegal migration and crime of migrants, examined the policy of the European Union in the field of migration security.
