The monograph presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of legal activity carried out by a team of authors. The categorical status of legal activity has been proved, its place is determined in the system of categories of philosophy of law. The phenomenon of self -determination of legal activity, technology, principles and ideals of the “person acting” in legal reality has also been studied. The work in detail analyzes the main types of legal activity: law -making, law enforcement, scientific doctrinal.
The authors emphasize the importance of the postclassical methodology of studying legal activity, focus on moral and philosophical grounds of ethical examination of legal activity, its moral grounds in the field of law enforcement, explore activity through the prism of general and constitutional axiology.
