The monograph discusses the features of legal regulation of registration of rights to intellectual property and accounting of such rights, the effectiveness of which creates legal prerequisites for a more successful commercialization of rights to intellectual property and development of the turnover of these rights. The authors analyze the meaning, functions and methods of registration and accounting of rights to various intellectual property in Russia and abroad as the basis of scientific progress in the Russian Federation and the introduction of its results.
The prospects of using the latest technologies (distributed registry - blockchain) are investigated in the work in order to systematize the rights to the results of intellectual activity and their subsequent commercialization. In particular, the legal problems of using blockchain technologies are revealed and methods of solving them are proposed, the prospects for integrating smart contacts are evaluated into systems for accounting for intellectual rights, and possible mechanisms for the distribution of remuneration when using blockchain technologies for taking into account intellectual rights are analyzed.
