Seville tobacco factory is guarded by the cavalry regiment. On the guard - Don Jose, bases and nobleman. With the ringing of the bell comes the end of the siesta, and the streets of the city are filled with factory workers. Among them is the rebellious gypsy Carmen, the meeting with which becomes for Don Jose Rock.
