Saint Nectarios (Kefalas, 1846-1920) is known far beyond the borders of Greece, revered in Russia, primarily, as a miracle worker. Meanwhile, his theological legacy remains unexplored. In the work 'Care for the Soul', Saint Nectarios examines the question of the spiritual and moral freedom of man, about his destiny to live with God, which man loses by deviating into sin. The author, relying on the Gospel and patristic teaching, urges the reader to embark on the path of repentance. The word of the saint is simple, lively, and effective.
This work has not been previously published in our country. The present edition represents its first translation into Russian.
