The book is based on lectures that the authors have read more than 20 years in courses of postplomal education for cardiologists. Consistently presented issues of diagnosis and treatment of major diseases of the cardiovascular system. The possibilities of various diagnostic methods, starting with anamnesis and physical examination and ending with magnetic resonance and computed tomography, are analyzed. The results of multicenter studies and adopted by the International Commonwealth of Cardiologists and the recommendations on tactics of various groups of patients are discussed in detail.
