In the third volume of the 30-Tomny Collected Works Prints the story "Crack Corps". The exiled "forever in Kazakh Aul after serving a 8-year sentence, Solzhenitsyn"s cancer suffers a permit to undergo a course of treatment in the oncological dispensary of Tashkent. There, in the summer of 1954, the story is conceived. The intention was lying without a movement for almost 10 years. Starting to write in 1963, the author came closely over the story since the autumn 1965 to the fall of 1967. Attempts by the "New World of the Twardovsky Print" Cancer Corps" were firmly supplied by the authorities, but the text spread to Samizdat and in 1968 he was published in Russian abroad.
