The action of the new book of Alexander Stesin unfolds far from the African routes familiar to the reader to the reader. Here are stories about wanderings in Ugra, Siberia, Alaska, Mexico and Japan. Stesin’s travets remind - maybe very on time - that cultural barriers do not exclude communication and that an attempt to understand someone else"s culture enriches its own.
