Vladimir Efroimson was born in 1950 in Moscow. Since 1993, he has been living in the USA. By education mathematician. He was engaged in computational mathematics, oceanology, programming, financial risk calculations. He has been writing poetry since the beginning of the 70s. Published in periodicals (October, Bulletin of Europe, Friendship of Peoples, Interpoesia. New Journal, etc), as well as in almanacs and collective collections. He was a member of the Moscow Club Poetry. He published two books of poems - the first was published in Moscow, the second in New York. The collection On Celsius and Fahrenheit includes both previously published and new verses
